Alexander Arnold takes advantage of Aston villa using a high line defense.
The tactical that Liverpool use against Villa was just predicted that we mentioned in the previous blog post. Jurgen Klopp utilizing Darwin Nunez's runs to get in behind the line of Aston Villa due to the high defensive line and race into a 2-0 lead.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was tasked with those passes, and Liverpool were aggressive with long ball form Arnold. He completed four through-balls, five key passes, and seven final third passes, more than any other players on the pitch.
It was perhaps a surprise that Emery did not see this coming and change tack. Villa have caught the second most offsides this season with 14, thanks to their bold strategy, but having seen Nunez score twice against Newcastle United, it might have been sensible to drop the line a little.
However, Liverpool's best performance have come back. Their high press, stopping Villa from building out from the back and leading to lose possession.
Dominik Szoboszlai was outstanding, and Nunez looked lovely again. It was Alexander Arnold, with his 10th Premiere league assist of 2023.
In my opinion, if Liverpool can keep their form like they played with Aston Villa. Liverpool can challenge title with Manchester City and Arsenal. High pressing, running around the pitch, aggressive play. This is what all of Liverpool fans need. However, they have to keep this form and improve in every game. Sheffield United change the formation
Sheffield United first point of the season was something to be celebrated in the match against Everton 1-1. However, it is equally important that they can move back to their old formation 3-5-2 system.
This is the formation that Sheffield developed in 2022/23 in the premiere League in the last season before they were forced to use 3-4-3 formation in the defeats in Nottingham Forest and Crystal palace.
In my opinion, it's no surprised that they back to their old formation. Because in 3-5-2 formation, they did it very well last season. They won against Manchester city 3-2 in Etihad Stadium by using both natural wing as a striker. I believe that if they keep using this formation (3-5-2) Sheffield United will be one of the teams that will be dangerous in this season.
Son's hattrick against Burnley.
Son had his worst Premiere League performance last season, finding net only 10 times, it seemed his bad form would continue because his duo, Harry Kane. Left for Bayern Munich.
Instead, Son had his hattrick for Spurs, and they have surely that Son will be their first choice as no.9 role.
In my point of view why Son is back on his best form is because of the new role. In the new role, he plays as no.9 position, which means that he is no longer winger like last season. He comes down for the ball, create space for teammate, even create an opportunity for himself.

Chelsea lost against Forest
Nottingham Forrest ended a run of nine matches without victory against Chelsea with a 1-0 win in Stamford Bridge stadium on Saturday.
Chelsea lost to Nottingham Forest with a score of 0-1, it would be considered a surprising result, as Chelsea is typically one of the top teams in the English Premier League with a strong squad.
Such results highlight the unpredictable nature of football, where underdogs can occasionally triumph over more favored opponents. It would be interesting to see how this result affected both teams' trajectories in their respective competitions and what it meant for their respective fan bases.
It was won in familiar style as Forest, sitting deep and defending doggedly, frustrated Chelsea by holding only 24 per cent possession before scoring on the break with their first shot on target, a neat finish by substitute Anthony Elanga.
the main reason for their wastefulness is that Chelsea are a little green. They are snatching at chances, lacking the kind of experienced player who will take proceedings by the scruff of the neck and make something happen. What about your thought? Ferguson raises the bar with a hat-trick
Such an excitement about potential of 18-year-old striker Evan Ferguson was already high enough, but he is beyond his level after his hat-trick against Newcastle United on Saturday
Ferguson became just the fourth different 18-year-old to score a Premier League treble and the youngest since Michael Owen against Nott'm Forest in October 1998.
He has scored 10 League goals with only three players – Owen (28), Wayne Rooney (15), and Francis Jeffers (12) – having scored more in the competition before their 19th birthday.
As if that wasn’t enough to fuel the hype, Ferguson is only the second non-English player to register at least 10 Premier League goal involvements aged 18 or younger.
However, Newcastle are moving in the opposite direction. They have only scored twice since since their win against Aston Villa 5-1 on the opening week.
In fact, last season it took 24 league matches for Newcastle to reach three defeats, and they only lost five overall.
